New Fan Service releases for 2008

Announced a new Fan Service edition. The box includes the three indies era singles, Sweet Doughnut, Monochrome Effect and Vitamin Drop. For those who recently became fan of the group and can not obtain the singles. Now you can get the high valued singles without spending your life’s savings at Yahoo Japan Auctions!

Simultaneously announced a re-release of the Live DVD recorded last 2006′s x’mas live at Harajuku ASTRO HALL; Fan Service Bitter, a new regular edition. It seems that this was a fan request to Tokuma Japan. Bitter DVD was released 11 months before this new re-edition (2007 March 14th) as a limited release containing a photo book and a DVD.

Details of the sets are still not revealed.

Release info:

• Perfume – Fan Service [Bitter] (regular edition)

February 13th, 2008

• Perfume – Fan Service [Prima Box] (limited edition)

February 13th, 2008

21 Nov / Update

Fan Service [Prima BOX] includes 4 discs. Three for their indies releases and one DVD for the Promotion Videos for Sweet Doughnut and Monochrome Effect plus extra video footage… but where’s the Vitamin Drop PV? Ok it was released with the regular edition of the Complete Best album, but this should be a complete indies releases box, and it can not be complete without VD!

And will we ever have Counter Attraction or Imitation World recorded in a CD? Maybe we should wait for a new -not a Best- album for the next year, let’s pray to Nakata-san.

Everything for as low as ¥3,000, but limited edition only

Perfume and Daft Punk similarity test

We know that some Yasutaka Nakata songs are similar to some of the Daft Punk ones. NHK’s Recycling campaign spot‘s dancing stage looks like Around the World by Daft Punk. Both of them talk about technology or robots, …

…and Linear Motor Girl and Electro World songs almost fit inside Digital Love:

Do you think this is just a coincidence or Yasutaka-san is definitely influenced by the electronic french duo?
