Perfume’s promotion video for their seventh single love the world started broadcasting on TV yesterday morning.
Perfume also appeared on Fuji TV’s Hey!Hey!Hey! to promote the new song, performing a perfect syncro dance routine plus a talk that includes a surprise to A~Chan.
…again. This time it’s about Veoh, the account where I used to upload Perfume videos.
When I uploaded Love the world PV, this message was instantly sent to my email inbox:

The Veoh Team
Of course this is the same that happened to my account at Youtube, I got an email first, then in a couple of weeks my account was disabled. I understand that Tokuma Japan Communications and JASRAC are veiling for Japanese artists like Perfume, helping them to raise their sales and incomes.
BUT they still don’t seem to get that, hey, people like us who upload recorded videos from TV to the Internet via sites like YouTube or Veoh are actually helping our groups. I’m sure that dozens, if not hundreds, of people around the world discovered Perfume by chance in a random J-whatever website.
And then they became fans, who actually most of them buy their music online. Is that an example of how useful is the free promotion around the internet? And yes, that includes allowing uploads of videos and music if that helps the artist became more popular.
So, people from Tokuma Japan Comm., listen, we will find ways to share videos and music of Perfume, Internet is the only way for us to stay updated about it, and that helps Perfume a lot.

First off.
I LOVE the new video single!
I think it’s the best, most creative video Perfume had made to date.
Second.
Copyright issues. I cannot believe how greedy Tokuma Japan Comm. Are in regard to up loading videos on u tube etc. yes they want to get paid for their work, but to keep pulling down videos will just infuriate fans to their Artists. If it wasn’t for someone up loading a Perfume song on my space, I would have never have heard of them. Since then, I have bought ( from Japan) ALL of their CD, and DVD’s .
I would get all the video’s too is they were for sale. Sure some people will down load some stuff . but true Fans will BUY their offerings.
A lot of the videos of Perfume on various TV Shows will never become offered for sale . ( Happy etc ) So having them on u tube is good exposure for Perfume as well.
Why Perfume fan club. Does not have an English page is beyond me. They would get so many more fans in the US.
It seems that Tokuma Japan Comm is limiting their potential sales by doing such actions.
Uhh commenting bout this utube thing. . . . My account also got disabled permanently becoz of that. . .
They just don’t really understand that fansite’s like Perfume City really helped in the exposure of Perfume and not just only Perfume but also other Japanese artists. . . .
And commenting bout why does the offical Perfume fan club doesn’t have an English site and if they had they would get many more fans in the US, actually it’s not only in the US but also other countries who can fully understand English. .
I myself for example am living in the Philippines and a fan of Perfume. . . and it’s becuz of Perfume City I discovered Perfume. . . Well thanks to the guys out here and to ekuseru ;D
Ekuseru….
Perfume owes you a great deal because of all the effort you put into this site.
It’s because of your web site that I, as well as the world outside of Japan have found
Info on Perfume and where to buy. I hope that Perfume gives to the accolades that you deserve.
