On November 3, Perfume will hold their first concert at the Tokyo Dome. They will become just the second technopop unit (after YMO) and second female idol group (after SPEED) to have a concert at that venue.
The concert will be titled “1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11,” in reference to the three members preparing for their 11th year together as a group. Perfume has come a long way since their indie days. After teaming up with producer Yasutaka Nakata (of capsule) in 2003, they finally made their major label debut in 2005. In 2008, they achieved #1 on both the single and album sales charts, and they performed back-to-back shows at Nippon Budokan. Now, they will perform for a crowd of about 50,000 fans at their Tokyo Dome concert.

Zomg!!!! It’s only $74 and change! I’m SOOOO going to go. My Nocchi, A~Chan, and Kashiyuka…. Zomg, I think I may die of a heart attack if everything works out and I DO go see them live, but it’s ok because I’ll die extremely happy! Plus, it’d be my first time in Japan! =D
omg i can not believe it, i started listening to perfume abt 6 mouths ago so this is awesome. i remember watching the perfume documentory wen they were like they said they only got 3 ppl that came to watch them at one of their first gigs…

Well, I tried the link and I translated the page but it SUCKS because I can’t figure out how to obtain registration for foreign countries i.e. United States. Tickets go on Sale on Oct. 3rd and I’ll be DAMNED if I can’t do my best to go. At first, I didn’t want to go alone, but now, I just NEED to go no matter what. Argh…. I’ll speak with my Japanese teacher!!! Maybe she’ll be able to help.
