The title has been revealed as VOICE!
Limited Edition
Normal Edition
Track List:
Doesn’t the concept remind you of Polyrhythm’s cover design? A nice nudge to Perfume fans, what with the girls celebrating their 10th anniversary in the business this year! The title track, VOICE, will be a tie-up with an upcoming Nissan Motors CM campaign, while 575 will be a CM song for KDDI’s iida phone. Notably, capsule has produced a song (titled Hello) for iida previously, so it will be interesting to see what Perfume’s song may sound like.
The HP mentions that their Pepsi song will not be included, so perhaps Lovefool will be in the next album.

After this year’s first single release ”Fushizen na Girl / Natural ni Koishite” the new single will be released on August 11, about four months after. Song titles and details will be announced later.
There are still no plans for a full Lovefool song release. Maybe we’ll have to wait until Perfume’s next album, or a digital release maybe?
For now we’ll have to wait until June 18, 18:00 for a 15″ ringtone version of the song (via pepsi official site).

Pepsi NEX‘s next commercial will be now promoted by three new artists and groups: THE CRO-MAGNONS, Pornograffitti and Perfume. Each of them covering three famous western hits, “Blitzkrieg Bop” by RAMONES, “Get it on” by T-REX and “Lovefool” by THE CARDIGANS, respectively. Previous artists promoting the drink were Kobukuro, L’Arc-en-Ciel and Koda Kumi.
Perfume’s “Lovefool” is a cover by our beloved Nakata Yasutaka and the choreography for the 15″ commercial is also from the well known MIKIKO.
CM will be aired nationwide on June 12.

First off, we hope you all enjoyed our April Fool’s joke. It was just a last-minute idea and bad photoshop I slapped together last night. Yes, that isn’t even A~chan in the photo, but Tiffany from Girls’ Generation/SNSD (amazing how similar they look from the nose down, yes?). I did plan on releasing a “Kashiyuka version” as well, matching with the SNSD trend on using Yoona’s photo, but that got scrapped. I’m glad most of you guys didn’t take it seriously, but it’s definitely an idea I’d like to entertain you all with, if Perfume plans on releasing a commercial-grade fragrance to be purchased at department stores. To those who looked forward to it being true, I apologize as it won’t (for now).
Other Perfume-related April Fool’s jokes that have surfaced include a Perfume Music Festival that “took place” today and the return of Aprils, a parody troupe that once parodied Perfume.
However, today did not only bring jokes, but real news. Their newly announced track Fushizen na Girl will have its first full airing on Perfume LOCKS! radio today at 11:05 PM and their PV will air on M-ON! by midnight. Stay tuned, as we will update this post with the results as they arrive!
[Edit2] Tokuma Japan only uploaded the partial PV as I’m pretty sure the full will be included in the LE edition, but here it is. M-ON! did air the full PV which you can download here.
