Once hosted on Amuse’s server has now switched over to their own web server: http://www.perfume-web.jp/

Probably because of the recent server downtime Amuse experienced, a flurry of Perfume fans gave them beef about their lack of Perfume for the several days it occurred, but now it should not be happening again.

Several changes include a brand new layout, from the previous starry night/matrix black to clean-cut white (and no more cheesy flash intro). The “REPORT BLOG” is changed to “MANAGER BLOG”. Their PTA fanclub also got a makeover, but of course only members can see the changes.

We’ll miss the funky old site, but the new one is easier to read and more professional-looking. Please support Perfume with their new website!

And by platinum, I mean a platinum certified record for selling over 250,000 copies! Also, their BUDOUKaaaaaaaaaaN!!!!! Tour DVD received gold certification (100,000 copies) as well. This news was announced in their recent PTA video.

A big congratulations to the girls for achieving this milestone in their career!

Even though tickets are limited to PTA Fanclub members only, perhaps this may encourage any non-member Japanese fans to sign up, or any international fans to rub elbows with kind Japanese residents. Well, kind of. At least, their record label, Tokuma Japan Communications, has had their official YouTube channel live for a few months, but most of us did not know of its existence (or would have cared, for that matter) if not for Perfume. But recently they posted a teaser clip from Perfume’s Isosceles Right-Angled Tour DVD coming out on 1/13/2010!

The girls performing Zero Gravity at their Yokohama Arena venue!

With the 2009 Triangle Tour at its end, the girls have finished their months of city to city sold out concerts. For now.

Their next live performance announced will be for the Act Against AIDS 2009 benefit concert at the Nippon Budokan on December 1st. This will be their 2nd time joining the AAA “The Variety” concert.

As for releases, their just finished 2009 Tour will be released on DVD will be out on January 13th, 2010! If it seems a bit too long of a wait, don’t fret for the 10/15 Yokohama Arena venue of the tour will be broadcasted on MUSIC ON! TV after X’mas (12/26 ).
