From all of Perfume City, we wish Nocchi a prosperous new marking in life, and of course a wonderful 21st birthday! If you can imagine what kind of year it was for her, this is a video from last year when the girls were on their 1st own variety show, HAPPY! It seems like only yesterday, doesn’t it?

Last 2007 picture from Perfume blog: Yasutaka Nakata, Toshiko Koshijima (capule), Nocchi, A-chan and Kashiyuka (Perfume). They look like a happy family all together!

I wish this year will be as successful as 2007 have been or even better for Perfume and for every fan they have around the world who enjoys their music and positivity.

This had been a good year for Perfume City, after having all the issues with my old web host service, slimjackson offered us his help and now the site can grow more than ever, and that’s exactly what it’s doing now thanks to Perfume success and thanks to all the kind people who help us with lyric translations, fan art or simply post at our BBS. For all of you,

Like the last year, Perfume City has changed its header for a Nocchi themed one.

A month has passed since the best album released: 6,672 copies sold, and oricon rank #280. They’ve been promoting a lot their first album during this summer in many events and mini lives. Here‘s a clip of them introducing themselves. A-chan looks tired :/ Maybe it’s time to let the girls to take a rest before their next work (still unknown). Until then, here’s a new announced live for the 26th September at Shinkuku Loft also with RAM RIDER and deepsea drive machine:

Four new videos online:
- CM for “Sound Carrier Neo”. Electro World song was featured in a new Sega Toys product.
- Linear Motor Girl & Electro World commercials.
- GBA’s Densetsu no Stafi 3 commercial (featuring Vitamin Drop song on it).

Will be this number enough for TJC? I don’t know if they have to sell a specific number of copies to get the target TJC wants to get Perfume continuity in the major label market, but I belive and I hope that about 6,000 copies sold in three weeks for a barely known group as Perfume are enough to encourage their label and their producer, Yasutaka Nakata-san to go ahead with Perfume’s music career.

By the other hand, I’ve romanized a table based on Aerodynamik’s blog one. There was a radio show that was aired from 2004.5.3 to 2004.12.27 called “Perfume Planet”, where every week two members chose a song by an artist they like, in a section called “Pafyumushikku”/”Perfumusic”:

I must say that although my favourite member is Nocchi, I don’t like most of her music selection. I know and like every A-chan’s music, but Kashiyuka’s techno/shibuya-kei songs like “starship.6″ by Plus-Tech Squeeze Box or “GO! GO! Fine Day” by capsule are just awsome =)
