Well, kind of. At least, their record label, Tokuma Japan Communications, has had their official YouTube channel live for a few months, but most of us did not know of its existence (or would have cared, for that matter) if not for Perfume. But recently they posted a teaser clip from Perfume’s Isosceles Right-Angled Tour DVD coming out on 1/13/2010!
Click to go to their channel–it’s all Perfume-decked out!:
You can order their upcoming tour DVD at your usual import sites. Pre-orders are advised, as this will be for the first edition!

With the 2009 Triangle Tour at its end, the girls have finished their months of city to city sold out concerts. For now.
Their next live performance announced will be for the Act Against AIDS 2009 benefit concert at the Nippon Budokan on December 1st. This will be their 2nd time joining the AAA “The Variety” concert.
As for releases, their just finished 2009 Tour will be released on DVD will be out on January 13th, 2010! If it seems a bit too long of a wait, don’t fret for the 10/15 Yokohama Arena venue of the tour will be broadcasted on MUSIC ON! TV after X’mas (12/26 ).
As always, you can follow their latest news and more on Perfume’s Official Site news!
Their official website announced publicly today they Perfume will be releasing a second Photobook:
「Perfume Livefolio」
2009年12月17日(木)発売予定
価格 3,000円(税込)
ISBN 978-4-334-90161-5
From the title, you can predict that photos from Perfume’s current and past live performances will be featured. The girls have been known to express that one of their favorite times of the year is when they’re on stage in front of their fans. This allows them to be their selves and really let loose.
You can pre-order the book only on ASMART for now.

But as for performances on TV, the girls had one recently on a MUSIC STATION 3-hour special! Once again, Mステ had the stage done with special CG effects much like their previous performance with OneRoom Disco. But this time, the girls take the stage with NIGHT FLIGHT.
No matter how many times I watch these CG stage effects, I never get how they do it. As expected of Perfume and their staff.

Greetings, Perfume City-zens!
First I would like to thank the Perfume City head-honcho, ekuseru, for giving me the opportunity to better serve the Perfume fan community by updating the site blog in his place. Due to his busy schedule, he was not able update the blog as much as he wanted to, but that’s where I’ll help out. Until further notice, I’ll be your navigator in the latest Perfume news, as well as adding some personal editorial/opinions/reviews regarding releases, media, and all that jazz.
Who am I? Well, I go by the alias of Meirin on the Perfume City BBS, or simply Mei elsewhere. I’ve been a Perfume fan since their ~Complete Best~ release came about. I was born & raised in California, obviously currently residing there and attending university. On the side, I own/participate in other blogs with various themes, from anime to idol voice actors to J-pop and so on.
But enough about me! How about some much needed Perfume news. (more…)
Perfume’s first photobook “Perfume Portfolio” is out today! Even though they previously released a photobook included in first live DVD Fan Service Bitter, this one is the first real photobook including full color new pictures in a hard cover book.
In my opinion this is a perfect choice for those who love the girls (who doasn’t here?) but even though some people will disagree with this I think many of us were expecting more of the “near future techno-pop unit” side of Perfume. You know, dark backgrounds, blue lights, helmets, electric things and that stuff…
But still this is a beatiful compilation of the essence of the girls captured by the photographer and also artwork director of most of the promotion videos and jackets, Kazuaki Seki.
