Greetings, Perfume City-zens!
First I would like to thank the Perfume City head-honcho, ekuseru, for giving me the opportunity to better serve the Perfume fan community by updating the site blog in his place. Due to his busy schedule, he was not able update the blog as much as he wanted to, but that’s where I’ll help out. Until further notice, I’ll be your navigator in the latest Perfume news, as well as adding some personal editorial/opinions/reviews regarding releases, media, and all that jazz.
Who am I? Well, I go by the alias of Meirin on the Perfume City BBS, or simply Mei elsewhere. I’ve been a Perfume fan since their ~Complete Best~ release came about. I was born & raised in California, obviously currently residing there and attending university. On the side, I own/participate in other blogs with various themes, from anime to idol voice actors to J-pop and so on.
But enough about me! How about some much needed Perfume news. (more…)
Juicy Fragance (ジューシーフレグランス) is Perfume’s phantom song.
Nakata Yasutaka deleted by accident the data from the computer.
In the radio program Magical City on September 6th 2006 Kashiyuka said:
Kashiyuka: “At that time that was Perfume members favorite song”.
Nocchi: “Perhaps the company have the CD. A~chan is humming the tune.”
Even though it was played live it wasn’t yet registered at JASRAC.
• Source: Quick Japan issue #74 page 34.
In addition, I’ve cut that part of the program Magical City (20060906) so you can listen to the whole part about the song with A-chan humming it while Kashiyuka and Nocchi talk about their favorite and missing song.
Sorry it’s a little late.
Perfume released the PV for their latest single on air just a day or two ago, and rips of the video are up on the internet.
Due to constant monitoring of youtube/other streaming video sites, I’ll only post links to direct downloads and torrents:

Can’t wait for the single to be released!
Tokyograph News:
