Perfume @ Mnet Asian Music Awards 2010 in Macau

Perfume’s much anticipated appearance at this year’s MAMA 2010 in Macau came and went, with over 30,000 online viewers watching the show via the AKP online stream alone. The girls experienced loud screams from fans at their Red Carpet appearance and responded by doing their trademark introduction in Korean! As for their stage, the girls performed Nee and a the classic Chocolate Disco. In addition to performing, they also went home with the Best Asia Pop Artist Award! Congratulations, girls!

Natural Beauty Basic Website Updates with CMs, Wallpaper, and More

Fashion company Natural Beauty Basic has updated their Perfume mini-site with four 15-sec. clips of the commercials that will air to promote NBB’s Fall/Winter collection as well as Perfume’s next single ねぇ (Nee).

All of the clips can be seen in this YT upload. Otherwise the NBB site has it under the CM tab.

In addition, you can also download the official wallpaper in 1600×1200, 1280×24, or 1024×768 resolution. There is also a specific page where you can purchase the clothes Perfume wore in the MV shoot.

April Fools Brings Good News – New PV Aired

First off, we hope you all enjoyed our April Fool’s joke. It was just a last-minute idea and bad photoshop I slapped together last night. Yes, that isn’t even A~chan in the photo, but Tiffany from Girls’ Generation/SNSD (amazing how similar they look from the nose down, yes?). I did plan on releasing a “Kashiyuka version” as well, matching with the SNSD trend on using Yoona’s photo, but that got scrapped. I’m glad most of you guys didn’t take it seriously, but it’s definitely an idea I’d like to entertain you all with, if Perfume plans on releasing a commercial-grade fragrance to be purchased at department stores. To those who looked forward to it being true, I apologize as it won’t (for now).

Other Perfume-related April Fool’s jokes that have surfaced include a Perfume Music Festival that “took place” today and the return of Aprils, a parody troupe that once parodied Perfume.

However, today did not only bring jokes, but real news. Their newly announced track Fushizen na Girl will have its first full airing on Perfume LOCKS! radio today at 11:05 PM and their PV will air on M-ON! by midnight. Stay tuned, as we will update this post with the results as they arrive!
