Message from Yasutaka Nakata to Perfume (At Perfume’s radio program Panpaka Party)
Yasutaka Nakata: Congratulation for your gaining no.3 at Oricon chart ! You are great ,and I share this pleasure with you.
I have been made a plenty of songs ,but currently many people talk to me about Perfume’s success ,and I am glad to hear it.
When I am recording with you ,and I feel your objective view about Perfume leads to your songs’ improvement. So I have fun with recording.
I have to thank spacecadet for his great collaboration translating interesting articles and text so every english fan of Perfume can know a little bit more about Perfume. Check the Articles page and PerfumeDocs to stay updated.

Last 2007 picture from Perfume blog: Yasutaka Nakata, Toshiko Koshijima (capule), Nocchi, A-chan and Kashiyuka (Perfume). They look like a happy family all together!
I wish this year will be as successful as 2007 have been or even better for Perfume and for every fan they have around the world who enjoys their music and positivity.
This had been a good year for Perfume City, after having all the issues with my old web host service, slimjackson offered us his help and now the site can grow more than ever, and that’s exactly what it’s doing now thanks to Perfume success and thanks to all the kind people who help us with lyric translations, fan art or simply post at our BBS. For all of you,
Happy new year!

We know that some Yasutaka Nakata songs are similar to some of the Daft Punk ones. NHK’s Recycling campaign spot‘s dancing stage looks like Around the World by Daft Punk. Both of them talk about technology or robots, …
…and Linear Motor Girl and Electro World songs almost fit inside Digital Love:
Do you think this is just a coincidence or Yasutaka-san is definitely influenced by the electronic french duo?
